As plans are progressing to develop Europe’s leading space hub alongside Scotland’s largest aerospace cluster at Prestwick, we’re excited to extend an invitation to an event which we’re co-hosting at the HALO Enterprise and Innovation Hub in Kilmarnock on 16th June 2022.

The “Beyond Launch!” event is being run by Barclay’s Eagle Labs in conjunction with ourselves and our sister Advancing Manufacturing Challenge Fund (AMCF) project – Supply Chain AeroSpace (SCA).

The event will highlight the opportunities Prestwick Spaceport is bringing to Ayrshire and the local economy. On the day, you’ll hear from David Alexander OBE, from Houston Spaceport Development Corporation, on his journey of developing a spaceport and also a panel discussion from key individuals involved in Prestwick Spaceport. We’ll also be welcoming Alan Thompson from Skyrora to talk about how South Ayrshire is supporting development of the Scottish space cluster.
